Deposits with Credit/Debit Cards

You may make a deposit in USD/EUR with the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo.¹

How to Make a Deposit With your Credit/Debit Card

Select "Credit/Debit Card Deposits" in the "Fund Deposit" section of myForexTime. Choose the transfer method and account to which you would like to deposit funds. After you have selected the account, two fields will display where you will need to choose the deposit currency of your account and the amount you would like to deposit. Click "Continue". On the following page, confirm your information and click "Submit."
You will be taken to a secure page where you will enter your credit/debit card number and other personal information. Check to make sure you have entered everything correctly and click "Process Payment".

You can check the status of your deposit in myForexTime in the "Transaction History" section.
- The status "Being Processed" means that your deposit request has been accepted.
- "Funds Deposited" means that the funds have been posted to your account. Check to make sure that this is indeed the case.

Funds transferred using this method are posted to a separate USD or EUR Transitory Account which is created automatically in myForexTime.

Deposit Conditions

Processing Time:
Several Hours

The processing center does occasionally conduct a closer verification of a payment, in which case the processing time is extended.

Commission:

EUR Transfers: 2.75% + .15 GBP²
USD Transfers: 3.15% + .15 GBP²

Required Documents

When making a deposit with a credit/debit card, you will need to furnish the following documents:

A scan or photograph of your passport
A scan or photo of both sides of the card being used for the payment: on the front side, the full name of the cardholder should be visible as well as the name of the issuing bank and the first 6 and final 4 digits of the card (the remaining digits may be hidden). On the reserve side, the signature of the cardholder should be visible. The CVC2/CVV2 code must be hidden.

If more than one credit/debit card are involved in making the deposit, a scan or photograph must be furnished for each card.

If making a deposit from a virtual or prepaid card (i.e. a card where the cardholder's name is not shown), you must demonstrate legal possession of the card by sending a screenshot from the website of the bank where your name, the name of the bank, the first 6 and final 4 digits of the card number are all visible. You must also provide confirmation information regarding the acquisition of the card.

More Information

When making deposits with credit/debit cards, keep in mind that you may only make a deposit with a credit/debit card to your own account. By the same token, withdrawals can only be made to a bank account in your name. Funds may not be transferred to or from third parties.
